Workspace of the Week: Hackney Wick-ed Warehouse

By Lulu Straker

As we enter a new season, is it time you looked for a change of scenery? As well as some awesome inspiration? For just £17 a day in Hackney Wick you can find both. In the heart of all the fun of east London (and with those all-important transport links) lies this flamboyant, eccentric warehouse. Take a sneak peek at our latest Workspace of the Week...

The Host

The host, Isabelle describes herself as an ‘expert on easy going lifestyle’, this is certainly evident from the style of her space which oozes relaxation. Specialising in marketing and events, as well as hosting her own pop-up dining experience, The French Edge.

The Space

This groovy upbeat room is a writer’s dream. It includes all the necessary objects for unravelling your mind and spending a working day in comfort, with a penguin thrown in just for luck. Additional to this, come the added pleasures of fast wifi, tea and coffee and FREE PARKING! Yes, free parking in London it’s not a scam. The quirky space is decorated with multicolored lights, a darts board and even a permanent twister board. As for the workspace? A desk, quiet surroundings and great lighting are all part of the package.

The Place

Hackney Wick? More like Hackney Wick-ed; not just the room, but the location too. If you are looking for an activity break in the day, the Olympic park is just a stone’s throw away, where you can swim in the wake of champions, or chase the thrill of cycling in the  Lee Valley VeloPark and even slide down the Orbit Tower. If you have a penchant for the luxuries in life, the largest shopping mall in Europe, Westfield Stratford City, is right on your doorstep for a spot of retail therapy.

Love the sound of this space? Book it here.
