I have lived in South London for the past 3 years with my partner.
I work for a charity, leading community street design projects in London. Outside of work I help out at the local community market (the West Norwood Feast), hang out with friends in London parks, swim, run and enjoy gigs and dj nights.
Centrally located flat in lovely West Norwood. A calm and bright space with high vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light. The flat is a recent conversion in an old Printworks, located next to the filming location 'A Clockwork Orange'. It has large warehouse-style windows to throw open when it's sunny but is also fantastically insulated and double-glazed so you'll be warm even if it's cold outside.
Set back from the main road on a mews, the flat is a spitting distance from West Norwood train station and local shops including several small supermarkets, Blackbird Bakery for tasty coffee and the Great North Wood pub for after-work drinks.
Inside the flat you'll have two work spaces available to you. Upstairs there is a large open-plan living space furnished with a handcrafted table with space for 8, two sofas and an armchair. There is a TV monitor to use as an extra screen and extremely high ceilings - perfect for sharing things on a projector (please bring your own). The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, stove-top coffee maker and dishwasher.
Downstairs you'll find a study/bedroom with a desk, office chair and large computer monitor. We also have a clean, modern bathroom.
