This classic Arts & Craft room built in 1899 as the Ballroom for Wingfield house when it was one entire property, continues to be a stunning and impressive room with period details, including a 30 foot high beamed ceiling, Inglenook fireplace, sculptural details and glass work. Architectural lighting was added to highlight the features of the room. The Floor is oak and a large area rugs covers have the space.
The room is decorated with furniture in keeping with the period of the room. There is comfortable space for up to 20 people, with a large dining table, Knole sofa and other chairs. There is space for 4 tables of 8/10 people.
Heating is cast iron radiators and fan heating and possible use of the fireplace in winter.
There are views of the garden from French doors. There would be no use of the garden.
Entry to the Ballroom is from a large hall from the front door of the house. Cloakroom facilities are close, in the main house, which is the only part of the house available to any guest.
Finally - as a florist the room comes with fabulous fresh flowers!
