Victorian Loft for Creative Collaboration

Bankton Road SW2

Your Host

I'm a finance IT geek living and working in London and adoring my neighbourhood Brixton. I live in this wonderful house and always thought it would be amazing for people to work in or use for various purposes and it's almost a waste that it's just empty during daytime when I'm working in the City. I also rent out rooms on AirBnB.

A generously sized, very light, bright and tastfully furnished loft space in a Victorian house in Brixton. The place is perfect for conferences, creative collaboration or workshops. I could also imagine it would be great for educational purposes, theatre or yoga groups. It combines with a little office upstairs on a mezzanine level which also has a mattress for those seeking a power nap. You will additionally have access to the kitchen in case you want to prepare take-away food or coffee and tea, a garden for the smoking break or for lunch in summer time and of course the bathroom with toilet and shower.I also rent out bedrooms via AirBnB in case you have visitors from outside London, just inquire. The street is quiet but the area around in Brixton is bustling with a huge range of lunch, dinner and nightlife options. I can give plenty of recommendations. Transport links are excellent with Brixton tube and train stations just 5 minutes walk from the house. Free broadband internet and Wifi is included.

Quiet and comfortable space with a large and elegant room, tastefully decorated, with lots of natural light which was perfect for filming interviews. The space was also flexible and provided opportunity for filming from different viewpoints. The location was quiet and residential, with handy transport links nearby. Our host Samuel was very welcoming and helpful, and even gave us a list of recommended local restaurants. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful space. Don't be put off by the location it was worth the trip. I was a little concerned standing outside the door that I had made a bad choice but behind the door was a gem. Great open space to run a workshop for 8 people with several breakout areas for small groups in the kitchen and mezzanine space. Milly hosted us and she really did look after us excellently. Thank you Milly!
